THE DETAILS
Once we arrive at the airport before 4pm (check flights), a scheduled shuttle bus will bring to the boat and take us to our dream stay at our Moon retreat in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. With 33 eco-chic rooms, six stunning yoga spaces, a temazcal (ancient sweat lodge), beach club, lounge bar, sand terrace, oceanfront spa, and a restaurant for yogis, Xinalani is a sanctuary of wellness and serenity.

TYPES OF CLASSES + WORKSHOPS
Sound Bath and Self Expression: This workshop will guide you through a Sound Bath experience with the intention of connecting to your creative energy. Together, explore your relationship to this energy through a guided visualization meditation. You will then have a moment to explore the energy cultivated together through an abstract art exercise.
Alignment, Energetic Action, and Transitioning: Here we look closely at transitions into and out of poses as well as the fundamental alignment principles, risks and contraindications, energetic actions, modifications, and variations for each of the constituent postures found in dynamic sequences. Detailed breakdown of classical sun salutations, surya namaskara A & B, dancing warrior variations, vinyasa, and more
Making Yoga and Life More Meaningful: The heart of this workshop is about becoming more self-aware, self-accepting, and self-actualized, on the mat, off mat, in practicing and in teaching. It's about becoming clearer about one's life path, what the yogis and spiritual philosophers call dharma. We go deeply into self-exploration to discover our deepest longings and inhibitions, fears and joys, obstacles and possibilities.
Pain Relief by Art of Relaxation (ALG) : Our founder is skilled in almost all yoga disciplines, meditation, and massage therapy! After 10+ years of research, you'll learn life changing physical/mental relaxation techniques that'll improve all aspects of your life through somatic sequences of movement and self-massage.
Walking & Journaling Happiness: A sanctuary for your mind and soul that'll help increase your positive energy, be more grateful and a calmer mind by building healthy thoughts through journaling in the jungle.
Flow of Practice: This experience will dive deep into your subconscious to address the internal dialogue with "Me, myself, & I". We'll use breath work, guided meditations, reflective writing, one-on-one sharing and other tools rooted in ancient to modern yoga and other self-transformation traditions to reveal our hidden truths, passions, and potential for living the most extraordinary lives in the here and now.
