Sayulita is located approximately 60 minutes by car from Puerto Vallarta. If you arrive at the airport you can take a bus or taxi:
  • If you take a bus: The Compostela company truck from Puerto Vallarta leaves approximately every half hour and takes you to the Sayulita terminal. From there you can walk to the location (about 20 minutes), or you can take a taxi that will cost you 60 pesos or approximately 3 USD. We will cover this cost
  • If you take a taxi : The most comfortable option is to take a taxi from the airport to the hostel, it costs approximately 1000 pesos (50 USD). We will cover this cost (Conditions apply)

  • Although all good things must come to an end.. as the journey draws to a close, there may be a touch of sadness in the air. It's the bittersweet feeling that accompanies the farewell to newfound friends, the shared experiences, and the unforgettable moments that have woven themselves into the tapestry of your heart. But even as you bid farewell, remember that the memories and bonds created during this retreat will endure, serving as a source of inspiration.
You're also welcome to return two to three weeks later for an entirely fresh experience, where you can meet new retreat participants and instructors, creating a different and exciting adventure.

Perhaps most importantly, I champion encouraging others to find the fun in movement.

    Embrace the challenge. We will work through a variety of movements using high and low impact options that are sure to increase your heart rate and get you sweating. Endurance training is a key component to longevity, performance, and fatigue management. We will utilize a combo of steady-state and high intensity interval bursts to ensure we are training endurance across the spectrum.

INTRO TO HANDSTAND - 59
  • This introduction to handstand workshop is open to all levels - no experience required! You'll explore wall and partner assisted handstands, while learning how to safely enter and exit a handstand. You'll learn the correct alignment and balancing techniques required to balance a handstand, alongside warm up and conditioning drills.
EMBODY YOUR FEMININITY. - $59 - 8 SPOTS - @KIANA_NG
  • A sensual dance workshop to encourage your connection to your femininity, sensuality, and sexuality. You’ll use journal prompts to explore your own relationship to your femininity first. Then you’ll explore pole and floor-based dance elements and combine them into a flow done to music.
  • At the end of the workshop, you'll be given optional opportunities to create videos for each other using the choreography you learned. This workshop is complete beginner-friendly and open to all. Heels are optional for this workshop, but highly encouraged!

  • A lover of the simple things - the first sip of coffee, the warmth from the sun on my skin, the sounds of nature. Practicing and teaching yoga allows me to connect more deeply with these simple joys and this is what I love to share with students. It's not about what shape you make with your body, it's what you learn from and through the movement.

    Growing up as a dancer I have always loved movement. I've now been practicing yoga for nearly 15 years and have been teaching since 2016. Most recently, I have been teaching internationally on Yoga Teacher Trainings, connecting with yoga practitioners and teachers from all over the world.

  • Since 2011, I've been offering workshops, courses and global retreats in addition to private and group classes. I’m a yoga teacher mentor and yoga teacher trainer. My teachings centre around a few major themes: self-compassion, anatomy-informed sequencing, cultivation of strength, celebrating diversity and curiosity with what’s possible. All of these qualities are taught with big doses of kindness and humour. 
What to expect this week:
  • I teach a challenging, all-levels flow with a focus on strength and an invitation to play, always! My classes tend to be a great functional movement experience and we have a ton of fun while doing it.
  • I also offer a steady Hatha yoga practice that nurtures breath awareness, self-compassion and physical strength through intelligent, anatomy-informed sequencing. 
  • I'll be offering 1-2, 90 minute Thai Yoga Massages ($149/1.5hr) per day!

  • Over 10 years ago, I parted from my competitive figure skating career and embarked onto my yoga journey focusing on poise, conditioning and strengthening the body. Now, as a newly certified yoga teacher, I dedicate my classes to harnessing your chakra system. Through Asana, you will find the perfect alignments to make you feel strong and fully connected in mind, body and spirit.

  • I love to dedicate every practice to a theme for both mental and body awareness. 
  • We will move and play with a different focus within the body. You will build heat in vinyasa flow as well as find balance in restorative yin. 
  • As a working business professional, I know its is not easy to maintain an integral yoga practice. My aim is to show you that yoga can be acheived even during the busiest of days through simple movement and focus. 
  • You will learn to to be autonomous in your yoga routine and how to include it in your day to day.

FAQs

• WHAT DO I HAVE TO BRING?
We provide hotel quality bed sheets, pillows, towels and beach towels, as well as toiletries, shampoo and soap. We also have basic cooking essentials in our main kitchen, like salt, pepper, some seasonings and coffee. Grocery store, alcohol store, and general are minutes away from location.
Hostel may not have all of the items listed.
• IS THERE WIFI IN ALL THE SUITES?
Yes, all of our suites, and areas in the main lodge and cabin have high speed internet for Netflix, downloading files and online work.
• CAN I BRING MY PETS?
We love our furry friends! You can bring a maximum of 2 pets (each less than 50 pounds) and they are only allowed in the cabin next to the main lodge. The cabin has a fenced outdoor area for the pets to enjoy the outdoor space too!
• IS THE WATER SAFE TO DRINK?
- Only drink bottled water
• IS THERE AIR CONDITIONING / HEATING?
Our main lodge has a central cooling and heating system. Each paradise suite also has its own fan and air-conditioning units.
• IS A BONFIRE ALLOWED?
Our property has a firepit overlooking the lake specifically for bonfire, s'mores and ceremony. Please only use the firepit for a bonfire. Please respect the local law, as fire is not allowed within certain times during the year.
• ARE THERE ANY COFFEE MACHINES?
Yes, there is a Keurig machine and also regular coffee brewers, French press and Moka coffee maker, as well as a milk frother,kettles for tea in the main kitchen. There are also kettles for tea in each suite.
